I owned and operated an I.T business called MLK Computing established in December 2007. In 2009, I went online with the brand, tried many different advertising mediums including Yellow Pages Online and the Yellow pages Book, spent thousands of dollars a month without generating enough ROI from any of our marketing channels. My technical skills were highly respected among my friends and in my social groups; therefore, I was able to sustain my business through referral work.
I needed to find another way to generate inquiries consistently for our brand. I approached my previous boss and persuaded him to come work for me. He accepted because I knew he respected my technical and business skills since I was one of the very few highly professional people who had an unstoppable attitude, plus I did have the record for the most sales when I worked for previous organizations.
Together, my vision was to create an unstoppable ranking strategy on Google Organic Search and generate an enormous amount of inquiries for my I.T business, MLK Computing.
After much trial and error, we successfully cracked the code to develop a ranking formula for Google with a focus on Conversion Rate Optimisation. My mind started racing. I couldn’t believe that I started a business for which I’ve now cracked a formula to generate as many inquiries as I wish. And these inquiries are hot; they are calling to request appointments to have their business’ I.T problems resolved, and they are happy to book on the spot.
I’m thinking about the possibility now: How many small and medium business I can help in solving this problem.
Every business would tremendously benefit from having a marketing system that allows them to receive unlimited amounts of inquiries for the same monthly cost.
By the way, in 2011, when I was 22 years old, no one would believe what I’ve just figured out if I told them my age. So I would never disclose my age and do my best to avoid this question -after all my clients wouldn’t pay me for how old I am, but for what I could do for them. And in logical terms, age = experience.
In my field, I was initially working part-time for a psychologist in a Medical Centre at the age of 14 -I built the computer network and his computer systems. So, after all, I was more than confident in my skills and abilities; I just always needed to make sure that I would still allow people to give me a chance.
Back to the point. Okay, so I’ve figured out this very impressive method in ranking that makes my phone ring, I’m now picking up more clients than ever, very quickly I’ve managed to make several sales for this product/method of ranking organically, and I must say the clients are more than impressed. These clients from 2011 are still with me today, and they have also received the benefits of this unstoppable ranking strategy.
Naturally, now the other business was formed named MLK Marketing with a vision to bring innovation to the small and medium-sized businesses; to inspire them to develop and grow to their potential by leveraging specialized marketing strategies and innovatively utilizing technology.
