It was time for another campus placement as another batch graduates from engineering colleges. It was time for us to find fine talent. It was time for us to discover future potential who will join us in revolutionizing the Digital Marketing World. It was time for expanding our product team.
A team of 6 panel members consisting of the CEO and CTO themselves flew down to Bhubhaneswar, Orrissa 1400 miles away to KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Training).
The day started off with a presentation, to help them know what exactly we are looking for, because we weren’t going to be conventional, no where close. We were looking for student who truly eat, breathe, and drink code.
After which the drill down began, we had a pool for 1200+ students to analyze and choose few talented ones.
Filtering down that pool 0.04% for final panel interviews took one complete day in which the various rounds were MCQs(4), Flash Group Discussions, Subjective Round. For the students, the day was over at 3 AM, the real task for the panel however just began.
We had to evaluate to 200+ subjective answer sheets to see analytical and thought process of the students.
Early next day we began our panel interviews, to see if the students fit the culture, fit the team and most importantly fit the code.
After some really interesting interviews, we had chosen our future team members.
We closed off the placement drive with a visit to one of the 4 most holiest places in the world, Jagannath Temple, Puri, and as they say we were destined to be there. With the holy blessings we headed our way back to Delhi.
Yet another successful placement drive.
