Guest blogging at RankWatch is absolutely free. It's a pretty simple process too. All you have to do is carefully read and abide by these guidelines.
We have jotted down the following categories that would help you come up with a topic:
While we are inclined towards specific marketing tactics, we also keep an open eye for any topics that marketers care about including customer retention, leadership, collaboration, creative solutions, etc.
If you have anything in mind that does not match the above categories, don’t hesitate to share your idea with us. We will happily look into it and let you know if it is suitable for our blog and audience.
The type of content should more or less relate with the following:
“How to” and Listicle Articles: Always compliment the “what-to-do” content in your articles with “how to do it” descriptions. You don’t have to spoon feed the entire process, but provide enough context with a concise explanation and relevant links.
Everything you need to know : TThese are in-depth articles with current data, examples, etc. They usually tend to run above 1500 words. By the end of the post, the readers should be well equipped to execute all the steps of the process.
Case Studies: This is about sharing data out of your experience or experiments. Perhaps, you would not want to share the exact number of users visiting the site, but you can share relative data. For example, you can say there was a 20% increase in traffic (a positive impact from your experiment). If you don’t really have data, you can share something that you have built, optimized or made more efficient.
Industry related: These posts are usually lighter in nature, talking about the recent internet trends. These can talk about Google’s latest update and how it can affect your business, what should you do to take advantage of it and other actionable information.
If your writing does not fall under any of the above types, but you have an interesting new concept you would like to share, feel free to contact us.
We expect you to stick to our guidelines as they are not only valuable to us for better documentation, but also they help your article rank higher in the SERPs.
